Items worth $3,200 are reported stolen in Altamont Street break-in

RICHMOND — A resident in the 100 block of Altamont Street reported Saturday that his home had been broken into some time during the previous three days.

Entry was gained by forcing open a rear door, according to Richmond police.

The missing items, which are worth a total of $3,229, were an Insignia 50-inch LCD television, an LG 32-inch LCD television, a Microsoft Xbox 360 gaming console with three games, a black Apple iPhone 4, a red Dell Inspiron Studio 17-inch laptop computer, a Fossil watch with a silver band and black face, an orange North Face backpack, a red 10.2 MP Kodak digital camera, a black professional-style 10.2 MP Kodak digital camera and a brown 14.1 MP Kodak digital camera.

Gun, other items stolen from vehicle

A resident in the 100 block of Millstone Drive reported Sunday that a blue steel Charter Arms .38 caliber revolver, Undercover model, 2-inch barrel, two five-shot speed loaders and a Bianca inside-the-waist leather holster had been stolen from his vehicle some time during the past day. The items are worth $344.
