RICHMOND — Thefts and burglaries
• A resident in the 100 block of Hallie Irvine Street reported that her home had been broken into overnight and several items were stolen. Entry was gained by cutting the screen on an open window. The following items were reported missing: a black Toshiba laptop computer and a jewelry armoire containing old jewelry and coins. Estimated loss: $1,958.
• A resident in the 300 block of Kristin Drive reported that her apartment had been broken into during the day and two items were stolen. Entry was gained by breaking the rear door glass. A Dell laptop computer and a Lexmark 6100 printer were stolen. Estimated loss: $1,600
• The owner of an unsecured mobile home in Dixie Plaza reported that the copper A-coil from the interior HVAC unit had been stolen sometime during the day. Estimated loss: $500
• A resident in the 200 block of Banyan Boulevard reported that several tools had been stolen from his work truck sometime during the past week. The following items were reported missing: a Paslode cordless nail gun with two lithium ion batteries in a case: a gray Paslode pneumatic nail gun; a yellow Bostitch trim nail gun contained in a black case; and a Milwaukee Sawzall in a red case. Estimated loss: $899
