Wednesday• A representative of Kokoku Rubber reported that numerous tools had been stolen from the business during the overnight hours. The following items were reported missing: a Stanley Fat Max tool box with various hand tools inside; a My Weigh iBalance scale; a Pelouse scale; a pair of fixed tip retaining pliers; five metric steel eyebolts; a plier nose wire stripper; a multi-purpose wire stripper/crimper, 8.5-inches in length; a reversible blade screwdriver set with slotted and Phillips blades; a ball point Hex set, 1.5mm-10mm; a three-piece adjustable wrench set; a Mitutoyo thickness gauge; and a Mitutoyo digital caliper. Estimated loss: $1308.80.
• A complainant reported that a Huawei P1 cellular telephone was stolen from his parked and unlocked vehicle while he was at Taco Bell the previous evening. Estimated loss: $200.
• The owner of an apartment building in the 200 block of South Porter Drive reported that the copper had been removed from four external air conditioning units at the building, thus rendering them inoperable. Estimated loss: $5,300.
• A resident in the 200 block of Kalone Drive reported that her Troy Bilt self-propelled push mower with electronic ignition had been stolen from her carport sometime during the past four days. Estimated loss $175.
Sunday• A resident in the 200 block of Keystone Drive reported that her apartment had been broken into sometime during the past eight days and a number of items were stolen. Entry was gained by removing an air conditioning unit from its wall mount. The following items were reported missing: an LG Blu Ray player; a Sony DVD/VCR combination player; a black Wii gaming system with two controllers and a charging station; two three-ring binders containing approximately 400 DVDs; 30 Blu Ray movies; 20 Wii video games; and a Samsung 32-inch LCD television. Estimated loss: $2,875.
