IHOP manager raising funds to relocate stabbing victim’s family

Register Staff Report

RICHMOND — An IHOP manager is raising funds to help one of her employees, the daughter of a stabbing victim, find a new home.

Drew Land said her employee is the daughter of Billie Morgan, who was attacked and stabbed several times Feb. 21. The daughter and Morgan’s other child have been surviving on her tip money, but they want to move out of the Woods Trail apartment where the attack occurred, Land explained.

“They don’t want to be where it happened anymore,” she said.

Land said she has set up a fund at People’s Bank & Trust, and anyone willing to donate to the relocation fund may do so at one of their branches.

“People just have to say they want to donate to the Billie Morgan fund,” she said.
