RICHMOND — A representative of Superior Sign Service, Berea Road, reported Tuesday to Richmond police that two large aluminum signs were stolen from the south side of their building overnight. One of the signs was from Madison Trace Shopping Center and consisted of four sections that measured approximately 4 feet by 8 feet by 2 feet. The second sign was from Richmond Honda and was in one piece, measuring 5 feet by 10 feet. Estimated loss: $14,500.
• A representative of Rosedale Baptist Church, Westover Avenue, reported that a Fender six-string, wood-colored acoustic guitar in a black case was stolen from the church around midday. Estimated loss: $1,000.
• A patron of the Red Roof Inn reported that several tools were stolen from a mounted tool box in the bed of his pickup truck during his stay at the hotel during the night of March 17. The tool box was forced open. Reported missing: two toolboxes of Snap-On tools, an unknown brand cordless ratchet, an unknown brand cordless impact tool and a pair of jumper cables. Estimated loss: $2,500.
• A representative of Petro Service, 1929 Irvine Road, reported that several tools were stolen from one of the company’s service trucks over the weekend. Reported missing: a Stihl concrete saw, a Hilti rotary hammer drill and a Dewalt sawzall. Estimated loss: $1,950.
