Ballard Drive resident reports theft
A resident in the 500 block of Ballard Drive told police Sunday that a computer and TV were stolen from his home that evening. He identified a visitor to the home as a suspect, according to the RPD. The missing items, worth a total of $500, are a Dell laptop computer with dual core processor and an unknown brand 32-inch HDTV.
• A complainant told police Saturday that a Stihl hedge trimmer, worth $350, had been stolen from the bed of his truck.
•A resident in the 200 block of St. George Street reported Friday that a Hi-Point 9mm pistol, worth $160, had been stolen from his parked vehicle during the night. There were no signs of forced entry, according to the RPD.
• An employee of the University Tire Center, North Porter Drive, reported Thursday that his Kel-Tec .380 caliber pistol, worth $200, had been stolen from the office during the daytime hours.
• An employee of Baptist Health in Richmond reported Wednesday that her 2001 Honda Elite scooter, 49cc, was stolen that morning from the parking lot. The scooter is worth $500.
• A complainant reported Sept. 11 that his black HTC Inspire cell phone in a red case had been stolen from his vehicle while it was parked during the early afternoon behind Jimmy John’s on East Main Street.
