Richmond and Berea police report thefts, burglaries

MADISON COUNTY — The Richmond and Berea police department are investigating these recent thefts and burglaries.



RICHMOND



Dec. 11

A resident in the 500 block of West Main Street reported his unlocked residence was unlawfully entered during the day and an 250 GB Xbox 360 Kinect gaming system along with four video games valued at $419 were stolen.



Friday

An Earlene Court resident reported a new AquaSource toilet valued at $99 was stolen from her front porch during the day.



Monday

A resident in the 1200 block of Parkview Way reported a Sig Sauer .22-caliber pistol, Mosquito model, a box of ammunition and a TomTom GPS unit, all valued at $480, had been stolen from his parked and unlocked vehicle during the past day.

BEREA



Monday  

A resident in the 100 block of Elm Street reported that the driver-side window of her vehicle, valued at $250, was broken out overnight.



Saturday

A Paint Lick Road man reported that his vehicle, valued at $6,400, had been stolen from his residence.



Friday

Officers responded to Oak and Burdette streets in reference to a theft. Berea Street Department employees reported a chainsaw, worth $320 was stolen from an area while they were working.



Thursday

A resident in the 100 block of South Cumberland Street reported several items, altogether valued at $1,000, were taken from the home.



Dec. 10

Officers were called to the 30 block of Old Wallaceton Road in reference to a burglary. The victim reported the door to the residence was forced open and $400 worth of items were taken from inside the home.



Dec. 9

A Brooklyn Boulevard resident reported that $40 worth of items were stolen from a parked vehicle outside of the residence.
