Hello everyone.
It looks like we may have a cool Easter. If we are lucky, at least it won’t rain. The little kids still will be so adorable.
The churches are all planning special services to remind everyone of this special celebration. I am sure the preaching will be focused on the impact that this day made to each of our lives.
The Kirksville Baptist Church will be having their preschool and children’s Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday. Don’t forget to drop of some individually wrapped candy before that day so that they can have the eggs ready. This hunt will be rain or shine.
Well, if you see a bunch of kids at Allison and Clara Carpenter’s house on Sunday, oh yes, they are hosting the Full Gospel Tabernacle Easter Egg hunt. They figure will all the trees, bushes and the flower beds, finding the eggs will be a little more of a challenge. At least they will be plastic eggs, not like the real ones like us older folks hide, just in case one is not found till the next year. That was never a treat to come across an old egg later in the summer.
Don’t forget Friday night at the Baptist Church for movie night. The “Passion of the Christ” will begin at 6:30 p.m. It will be a great night to fellowship.
The Full Gospel Tabernacle singers will be on the Beattyville channel on March 27 at 7 p.m. Mark your calendar for that night. If anyone would like to help out that night with the phones, call Rickey Horn for more information at 623-0399.
