Special to the Register

RICHMOND —

You can help the Richmond Area Arts Council raise much-needed funds beginning 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1.

It’s easy to donate. Visit GoodGivingGuide.net and search for the Richmond Area Arts Council.

The first 10 non-profits to raise $7,500 will receive a matching endowment fund.

All donations for the Nov. 1 challenge must be made online at goodgivingguide.net. Donors may choose to attend the Bluegrass Community Foundation Challenge at the West 6th Brewing Company from 3 to 7 p.m. Nov. 1 and donate to the Richmond Area Arts Council during this event.

You are not just donating, you are marking a difference in the quality of life for all residents of Madison County.

Non-profit organizations nationally derive 74 to 91 percent of their revenue from small gifts by individuals. Online giving increased 50 percent during 2012.

Donors also can help by serving as social media ambassadors by sharing/liking facebook posts from the Richmond Area Arts Council page or retweeting twitter posts.

Mark your calendar and have your credit card ready to donate Friday, Nov. 1, beginning at 8 a.m. Be certain to donate to the Richmond Area Arts Council.

The minimum donation is $10 and every donation counts!
