RAAC's September basket class to make Fall Tote

Special to the Register

RICHMOND — Autumn activities and the fall’s beautiful colors will be reflected in RAAC’s September’s basket class, which will make “a magnificent Fall Tote”

The class will be conducted Sept. 28 at the Richmond Area Arts Center, 399 W. Water St., beginning at 9 a.m.

The Fall Tote features rich colors woven on a wooden base with a handmade oak handle. This design will include twinning plus start-and-stop weaving.

You will be proud to take it shopping, tailgating or simply to use in your home.

Jo Ann Carnes Park, a Richmond native and veteran basket weaver, invites you to join this class for a day of fun, fellowship and weaving.

Jo Ann has over 20 years of experience making baskets and when not at work managing a local bank branch or making baskets, she loves to garden and work in her herbs on the family farm.

The tuition for this wonderful class is $65 and includes everything you need to make your Fall Tote.
