EKU Special Collections, public library announce transportation partnership

RICHMOND — Eastern Kentucky University Special Collections and Archives and the Madison County Public Library have partnered to make utilizing the university’s rich archival treasures for research or genealogy projects more convenient for patrons.

Every Thursday, Oct. 10-Nov. 21, free “door-to-door” transportation will be provided from the Madison County Public Library, 507 W. Main St., Richmond, to EKU’s John Grant Crabbe Main Library, home of Special Collections and Archives.

Patrons can park at the Madison County Library and be transported at 10 a.m. to the EKU facility in the heart of campus. Return transportation will be provided from EKU to the local library at 2 p.m.
